Some really wonderful responses to the Intrapology performance on Sunday 🥰 It’s taken so much work by so many people to get here, and I’m gratified that everyone’s efforts are showing through in the final result.

“Hype and Doom are two sides of the same Bitcoin” I’ve been saving this Ruha Benjamin lecture for a day when I have the capacity to process it, and it does not disappoint youtu.be/ZseJigkUh…
Final week before the Intrapology performance on Sunday! Absolutely gorgeous live interactive performance about alien anthropologists whose worlds have broken apart. Our biggest challenge is actually reaching audiences - please share!

Really keen to share Intrapology with #covidconscious people who are #stillcoviding or who face barriers to in-person theatre because #covidisnotover. Where should I be posting information about our shows? post.intrapology.com/episodes/…
This Pride Month, instead of fawning over whatever corporate crap is pretending to pander to us this year while still colluding in various harms around the world, maybe celebrate queer artists trying to create beauty even while the government tries to destroy our lives.

Excellent writing about the status-oriented goals of LLM evangelists. It explains so much. At the same time, there’s something uncomfortable about recognising that the alternative to joining the chorus is to cultivate prestige.
Worked hard today developing character ideas for the finale of Intrapology. We might end up covering Jowling Kowling in gunge, but it depends on the outcome of audience votes in episodes 4 and 5. Meanwhile, we’re performing Episode 3 on 15th June, get tickets at intrapology.com/tickets
Just had a lovely meeting about continuing the Desperate Livin website archiving trans health resources. Also planning a couple of workshops for skill sharing to get more people creating DIY indie websites. The internet is still handmade, still beautiful, and still ours. desperatelivin.com
I did that Open Psychometrics test
“So what are you working on at the moment?” you ask. I take a deep breath…
I really hope that with ActivityPub we might get to a point where people can post the things they actually enjoy making, on the platform that suits them best, without having to go through the drudgery of then separately recreating it for every other platform so that people might actually see it
The majority of artists seem to, at least on some level, feel that posting on social media is a chore that they’d rather not do. This is the other side of the rise of AI slop - putting automated content in people’s feeds, because these services no longer have much to offer creative people.
My work got some coverage in The Sick Times! Really honoured to be included in their fantastic reporting on issues that are being actively suppressed on a lot of platforms at the moment.
I really appreciate the UK Games Fund explicitly defining their remit as “commercial games-for-entertainment”. This is often a category that’s taken as the default and unmarked, which creates confusion for those of us doing something else!
3 hours until the Intrinsink {~ game jam | scratch night | hackathon} event, testing five short new pieces by commissioned artists from games and theatre: intrapology.com/Scratch
